PTA Sending Warmth and Love – Knitting Class

In order to express love and care to the elderly in the district, our PTA hosted a parent-child knitting class recently. Parent volunteers, students and teachers knitted scarves which will be delivered together with goodie bags to the elderly in January 2025.

This occasion was meant to foster our Values Education as an essential element of whole-person education through the provision of relevant learning experiences. According to Strand IV of EDB’s Curriculum Framework on Parent Education, this meaningful home-school activity also provided a platform and valuable opportunity for parents-adolescent children, parents-parents and parents-school communication.
