Study Tour of Danxia Culture in Mainland Shaoguan

Our Form 5 students participated in our Citizenship and Social Development Mainland Study Tour, visiting Danxia Mountain and Shaoguan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd to deepen their understanding of Chinese culture and our nation’s development.

At the Danxia Mountain Museum, students learned about the geological features of the region and the preservation and passing on of cultural heritage. Besides, they joined an ecological study programme to explore the local flora and insect biodiversity. At Shaoguan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd, they toured the modern industrial production line and gained insights into enterprises’ opportunities as well as challenges. This fruitful study tour has not only broadened students’ horizons but also strengthened their sense of national identity.
