60th Schools Dance Festival
Our Chinese Dance and Contemporary Jazz Dance members participated in the 60th Schools Dance Festival and reaped a Highly Commended Award for Chinese Dance (Group) and a Commended Award for Modern Dance (Group) respectively. Our Student Representing Athletics Team of Hong Kong, China to Participate in 21st Asian Junior U20 Athletics Championships
We are bursting with pride as our student, Mak Tsz Ching, was selected by the Hong Kong, China Association of Athletics Affiliates (HKAAA) to represent the Hong Kong, China Athletics Team to take part in the 21st Asian Junior U20 Athletics Championships held from 24 to 27 April 2024 in Dubai, UAE.
Tsz Ching well demonstrated his dedication, hard work and passion for athletics as he competed against some of the best youth athletes in Asia. He has not only achieved personal milestones but also set a high standard and served as an inspiration for his peers.
Gold Medal in 13th Hong Kong Geography Olympiad & Entering the Selection Round for the 2024 International Geography Olympiad
Chau Yung Hang Steven, our F.6 Geography student, obtained a Gold Medal and achieved the 5th Place in the 13th Hong Kong Geography Olympiad.
Being 1 of the 7 secondary school students in Hong Kong obtaining a Gold Medal, Steven was invited to join the Selection Round for the 2024 International Geography Olympiad (iGEO).
4 students will be selected by the second half of this year. They will represent Hong Kong and attend the iGEO in 2024.

Girls Overall Champion in Inter-School Athletics Competition
Our Athletics Team participated in the Inter-School Athletics Competition (Division 3 Area 4). We competed in a tournament against 48 teams. We are thrilled to announce that we were the Girls Overall Champion. This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to our athletes’ hard work and passion for the team. What makes this even more impressive is that this is the third year that we have reaped this award and we will be promoted to Division Two in the coming year.
This award means a lot to us. We will cheer the team on and give them our full support!

Overall Championship in 2023-2024 Sham Shui Po District Inter-school Creative Technology Competition
Our students, 5A Chan Chun Yin, 5A Ho Chun Yuen, 5B Lee Yi Ching, and 5B Leung Lok Yi, participated in a STEM competition named 2023-2024 Sham Shui Po District Inter-school Creative Technology Competition organized by the Sham Shui Po District Office and the Sham Shui Po School Liaison Committee.
The purpose of the competition was to encourage students to focus on the community, demonstrate teamwork, and use innovative technology to design solutions suitable for residents in the area in order to improve community issues.
In the competition, our team won the overall championship and also received the Innovative Community Planning Award. Congratulations to our team!
Asia Students Art Festival 2024
5D Fung Ho Hei participated in the Asia Students Art Festival 2024 and received 1st Runner-up in Chinese Musical Instrument Solo, Age 16-17 (Guzheng).
Organized by First Education, the competition attracts music and dance lovers from all corners of Asia every year, providing a platform for performing arts lovers to showcase their talents, demonstrating the classical, modern, Chinese and Western music and dance cultures in Asia.

Our school was invited by St. Francis Xavier’s College to join their Boys 4x100m Invitation Relay on 29 November 2023. Our students, 3D Liu Shun Luo, 3C Cheung Man Hei, 3B Mak Tsz Ching and 2D Huang Kai Xiang, got the 1st Runner-up. Congratulations!
SCAA Athletics Competition
SCAA Athletics Competition (南華體育會第74屆全港學界田徑運動會) was held at Wan Chai Sports Ground on 25 November 2023. It is one of the prominent athletics competitions in Hong Kong. Athletes from different divisions are included. We are thrilled that our Athletics Team members, Mak Tsz Ching and Huang Kai Xiang, were awarded the champion title in Grade A 110m Hurdle and second runner-up in Grade C 100m Hurdle respectively in this territory-wide competition.
