“READmarkables” Outdoor Reading Challenge Day
Six of our Form 3 students recently joined the “READmarkables” Outdoor Reading Challenge Day, co-hosted by the EDB and Ocean Park. Focused on animal conservation, this initiative immersed students in bilingual, cross-curricular materials that deepened their love of nature and its role in national and social development.
Through interactive tasks, students applied key reading strategies, such as extracting information and making comparisons, to enhance both their literacy skills and ecological knowledge. This enriching experience transcended traditional reading methods by connecting students with real-world contexts in a meaningful way. We look forward to more dynamic opportunities like this in the future!
