Form 1 Sze Yap Cultural Study Tour 2024

Thanks to the very generous subsidy from our school sponsoring body and Quality Education Fund (QEF), during the Easter holiday, our F.1 students participated in a study tour to Sze Yap to broaden their horizons and experience the culture as well as customs of Sze Yap, at the same time, further enhancing their national identity.

During the trip, they explored various places in Sze Yap, including Wuyi University, Lee Kum Kee (Xinhui) Food Company Limited, Kaiping Museum, Liyuan Scenic Area, Xili Village Scenic Area, Aofeng Park, Enping Library, Enping Museum, Taishan Museum, Overseas Chinese Cultural Museum, Fuyue Village, Haikou Port Yinxin Cultural Ancient Street, and Meijia. To further strengthen connection and professional exchange with Mainland schools, we have formed sister schools with Xinhui No.1 Middle School, a renowned school being rich in both culture and history.

This cultural journey not only allowed our students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the history and recent development of our country, but also deepened their appreciation of Chinese culture and heritage, as well as treasured values such as unity, responsibility, resilience, diligence, and compassion. This very first tour to Sze Yap enabled our students to reflect upon their future roles in contributing to the development of our country.
