Geography Field Studies in Cheung Chau and Central
The Caritas Chan Chun Ha Field Studies Centre offered us two field study courses to enhance our senior form Geography students’ knowledge in conducting fieldwork and to prepare them for the fieldwork-based questions (FBQ) in the HKDSE.
Our Form 5 students explored the microclimate of Central Business District (CBD), examining how the urban landscape impacts it, and validated their hypotheses through a series of on-site measurements.
Our Form 4 students, on the other hand, investigated the urban housing and environmental problems in Cheung Chau through site observations and surveys. They enjoyed a fulfilling day in the atmosphere of New Year’s Eve and were warmly received by the local residents during their research activities.


46th Speech Day
Our 46th Speech Day, a momentous occasion and a day to celebrate our Form 6 students’ graduation, was held recently with Mr. Wong Yan Yin Paul, JP, District Officer from the Sham Shui Po District Office of the Home Affairs Department, as our Guest of Honour.
Quoting Mr. Wong’s words, “The journey of learning is long. There is no final graduation, because we learn something new every day.” We believe our graduates will look forward to their every milestone ahead, while keeping in mind their perseverance, tenacity and unwavering spirit nurtured in our school.

Counselling Prefect Training Camp 2024
A 2-day-1-night training camp was held for our counselling prefects to create strong team ties, broaden their horizons, and prepare for the upcoming challenges as student leaders in school. Having engaged in the team-building puzzle games, social skills training activities and outdoor adventure, they have honed their communication and problem-solving skills in the process, emerging as a stronger and more cohesive team.






School Picnic
Our School Picnic was held recently for students to have fun and create lasting memories beyond the confines of the classroom. This provided a platform for them to immerse themselves in nature and encouraged their participation in recreational activities, fostering their connection with each other.
Each class enjoyed the day at their self-chosen location, spanning diverse destinations such as Discovery Bay, Cheung Chau, Lamma Island, The Peak, Tai Mei Tuk, and Stanley. Meanwhile, our Form 6 students relished their life-wide learning experience at Ocean Park.













46th Aquatic Meet
In our 46th Aquatic Meet, our students showcased both talent and determination, making the event a memorable one.
Special Guest
We were honored to have Mr. Sukhmit Singh, a member of the HK China Hockey Team, deliver an inspiring speech about the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle. His words encouraged our students to prioritize health and fitness, reinforcing their commitment to holistic development.
Event Highlights
- First Runner-Up in Inter-School Boys 4x50m Freestyle Relay: Congratulations to our boys swimming team for their outstanding performance in this highly competitive relay event!
- Cheering Team Champion: A big shoutout to our Red House for their spirited support which motivated our swimmers throughout the meet!
- Overall House Champion: Congratulations to our Yellow House for their excellence in not only participation but also performance across all events!
Our students truly exemplified the spirit of striving for brilliance, and we are more than proud of their achievements. Together, we will continue to foster a vibrant sporting environment, and we will keep the momentum going as we prepare for our future competitions.





Visit to Sing Tao Daily
Our Form 4 students were arranged to visit Sing Tao Daily to enhance their understanding of journalism and the importance of discerning truth from misinformation in today’s digital age.
During the visit, they not only learned about the printing process of a newspaper, but also interacted with experienced journalists and academics who provided valuable insights into news production and the challenges of reporting in an era of rampant fake news. Besides, they also learned how to use social media effectively and avoid cyberbullying.
Overall, with the awareness of media and information literacy and the need for critical thinking when consuming information, our students were better equipped to navigate the media landscape as wise citizens capable of assessing the authenticity of information.
















PTA Sending Warmth and Love – Knitting Class
In order to express love and care to the elderly in the district, our PTA hosted a parent-child knitting class recently. Parent volunteers, students and teachers knitted scarves which will be delivered together with goodie bags to the elderly in January 2025.
This occasion was meant to foster our Values Education as an essential element of whole-person education through the provision of relevant learning experiences. According to Strand IV of EDB’s Curriculum Framework on Parent Education, this meaningful home-school activity also provided a platform and valuable opportunity for parents-adolescent children, parents-parents and parents-school communication.

Exchange Tour to Tokyo, Japan
5D Wong Suen, Suki was chosen as one of the representatives for the Tokyo Exchange Tour organized by Save the Children Hong Kong. Out of 230 applicants from various schools, only 30 were selected for this opportunity.
During the trip, Suki visited the Chinese embassy where the friendly Consul shared some valuable insights. Touring a local university, she made many Japanese friends and immersed herself in the culture. Besides, she also enjoyed learning about evolution, human development and industrial progress at the National Museum.
Above all, Suki engaged in activities focusing on children’s rights. Her group performed a stage play at the local university, addressing the pressure students face in their studies and the importance of mental health. The play aimed at raising public awareness of children’s health.
The tour was eye-opening for Suki and inspired her to contribute more to the world as a global citizen.





Prefect Training Day
The Prefect Training Day was held for our prefects to learn the importance of effective communication, teamwork, adaptability, and leadership under pressure in achieving common goals.
The day began with a challenging team-building activity in which they had to construct the tallest tower using newspaper only, fostering their cooperation and leadership skills. Following this, a keen observational challenge tested their attention to detail and honed their communication skills as they looked for differences in identical setups.
The highlight of the day was a thrilling treasure battle, where they had to scoot to a designated spot to grab the treasures as fast as possible, emphasizing strategic thinking and team spirit.
Overall, the training day not only equipped our prefects with essential skills for their roles but also boosted a sense of unity within the team.





Physics Stargazing Camp
Our Form 6 Physics Stargazing Camp was an opportunity for students to get engaged in hands-on training with professional astronomical equipment as well as the proper telescope and binocular techniques. They were taught about magnification settings, lens care, and field of view calculations.
Apart from practicing stellar navigation using stargazing software, our students also got inspired in the valuable sessions on the environmental impact of light pollution and dark sky preservation efforts.
