Cross-KLA Mid-Autumn Celebration
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a cherished occasion that brings together various elements of our school’s curriculum through engaging and interactive activities. On 16th and 17th September, students participated in a series of cross-disciplinary events designed to celebrate this festive season.
Students challenged their problem-solving skills with Chinese and Mathematics Departments’ lantern riddles, whereas English Department’s Mooncake Challenge allowed them to explore cultural themes through creative tasks. Science Department’s Mystery of the Moon presented by our Science Ambassadors sparked curiosity about the moon and its significance during the festival. With the assistance of our Art Club members, Visual Arts Department hosted lantern making and rabbit origami activities, encouraging creativity and teamwork. In the realm of Music, on the other hand, students enjoyed the Guzheng solo performance and themed music played via the PA system that enriched the jolly atmosphere.
Our cross-KLA activities aimed not only to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival but also to foster collaboration, innovation, and cultural appreciation among students, making it a memorable event for all participants.
