A Field Trip to Shek O
To enhance our Form 5 Geography students’ understanding of the coastal geography of Hong Kong, a field trip to Shek O was held to provide them with first-hand experience of the area’s unique geological formations, including sandy beaches, rugged cliffs, tombolo and rich biodiversity. Students explored the coastal ecosystem, learned about the wave characteristics, erosion and deposition processes. The trip also deepened their appreciation of Hong Kong’s natural beauty.
