Our Students Weighing In on whether Satoshi is a Good Pokémon Caregiver
An exciting inter-class debate was recently held during lunchtime, featuring Form 4 students against their Form 5 peers. The motion that “Satoshi is a good caregiver of his Pokémon” sparked lively discussions among the participants.
Our Form 4 team argued in favor of the motion, highlighting Satoshi’s (Ash Ketchum’s) unwavering dedication, compassion, and strong bond with his Pokémon. They emphasized how his leadership and nurturing nature ensure his Pokémon thrive in battles and beyond.
Meanwhile, our Form 5 team presented counterarguments, questioning whether Satoshi’s frequent challenges and occasional setbacks truly reflect ideal caregiving. They encouraged the audience to consider alternative perspectives on responsibility and growth.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for students to develop critical thinking, public speaking skills, and an appreciation of diverse viewpoints.
Well done to all participants for their spirited contributions!
