Melodies in Bloom: Inaugurating the Golden Jubilee Garden

Hosting its very first Lunchtime Busking Performance, the Student Union transformed our newly established Golden Jubilee Garden into a vibrant, open-air stage. Only months since the garden’s completion, this concert marked a significant milestone as we celebrate our 50th anniversary this year.

Five talented student acts—featuring a mix of soloists and ensembles—took to the microphone, their voices and music echoing through the greenery to showcase remarkable skill and passion. The debut was a resounding success, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of approximately 80 students who gathered to cheer on their peers. The atmosphere was truly electric, offering a serene yet spirited musical escape that breathed life into the busy school day and set a beautiful precedent for many more performances to come in this special new space.
