Sze Yap 2026: Tracing Our Roots, Shaping Our Future

Marking a perennial cornerstone of our school’s commitment to holistic development, a grand delegation of nearly 140 students, parents, and teachers embarked on a momentous cultural odyssey through Sze Yap this Easter, supported by our School Sponsoring Body and the EDB’s Life-wide Learning and Sister School Grant.

A primary highlight was the professional exchange at our sister school, Kaiping Kai Qiao Middle School. This visit served as a vital platform for connection and bonding, fostering an enduring friendship through shared wisdom and multi-faceted collaboration.

Emphasizing National Education and values education, the trip allowed students to trace the roots of our school sponsoring body through a lens of deep compassion, gratitude, and reverence for our country’s history. From exploring the industrial heritage of Lee Kum Kee (Xinhui) to the literary charm of Librairie Avant-Garde, they savoured a taste of the local lifestyle. This valuable experience has empowered our students to become forward-thinking global citizens who embrace a profound sense of belonging and genuine resonance with their national identity.
