Our Aquatic Meet was held at Kowloon Park Swimming Pool on 16 November 2022. It was a particularly memorable occasion for us as the event had been suspended for a few years due to the pandemic. Students joined the individual and relay events representing their houses and classes. While our house committees decorated the stands with creative props, the cheering teams showed great support to their housemates with their chants.
Eight fellow schools joined our Inter-school Invitation Relay, hyping up the atmosphere. Their keen participation and brilliant performance are very much appreciated. Our thanks also go to Miss Tam Hoi Lam, a member of Hong Kong Swimming Team having taken part in 2020 Summer Olympics (4 × 100 metres Freestyle Relay, Women), for being our guest of honor and giving an inspiring speech.

The IYMC aims to offer an international stage for all musicians to communicate and develop further through holding concerts, masterclasses, forums, lectures, and competitions at regular intervals. The competition brings together renowned musicians from around the world, along with a wide range of institutions of music education, in the hope of promoting the development of music, culture and arts in various countries, especially in Asia.
Ho Hei also joined the 10th Hong Kong Schools Dance & Music Festival 2022 and received the Gold Award in Secondary Group (Age 12-17) – Guzheng Solo. The competition is committed to the promotion and dissemination of the culture of gratitude through music, dance, culture and art.
The Inter-school Swimming Competition (D3K2) organized by the HKSSF was held at Kowloon Park Swimming Pool on September 30 and October 14. We are delighted with our students’ outstanding performance. The awards are as follows.
Thanks to the support of students and teachers, our Halloween Week was held successfully despite Tropical Storm Nalgae. “Horror Escape Game” and “Cos in Halloween” were held by the Student Union, and we have seen students’ frightened yet delighted faces.
The English Department also arranged a fun chat with students during recess on Halloween Day. Our NET teacher, along with our English Ambassadors, dressed up in costumes and gave candies to students who joined the chat and tried the tongue twisters.
We are glad that students had a good time and earned some unforgettable memories. We look forward to more fun this time next year!
