Form 1 Bridging Programme – Embarking on an Exciting Path of Learning and Adventure
We are thrilled to share the success of our recently concluded Form 1 Bridging Programme, which aimed to provide our Form 1 students with a smooth transition into secondary school life while enhancing their English language proficiency.
The programme kicked off with engaging lessons in various subjects all conducted in English. Students had the opportunity to get a taste of their coming lessons while sharpening their English language skills at the same time.
One of the highlights of the programme was the English Fun Day. Native English-speaking teachers conducted interactive activities and games in classrooms and the school hall. The atmosphere was electric and students were well engaged. Not only did the fun day help enhance their language skills, but it also created an enjoyable and inclusive environment for everyone involved.
Furthermore, our dedicated counselling prefects offered a campus tour introducing our school’s facilities and resources, helping our new students feel more at home in the new environment. Additionally, a series of mass games, encouraging teamwork and a sense of belonging, were organized.
The pinnacle of our Form 1 Bridging Programme was the Growth Day Camp at Pak Heung. Students had an off-campus adventure with team-building games, an exciting room escape experience, and the exhilaration of abseiling. Apart from providing a platform to develop students’ leadership skills, the camp also allowed them to step out of their comfort zone, fostering their personal growth as well as resilience.
The Bridging Programme was a resounding success thanks to our students’ keen participation. We have high hopes for their future endeavors, and look forward to their soaring to new heights.
