Members of our First Aid Team visited the Ho Man Tin Ambulance Depot of the Fire Services Department. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the professional team for their detailed and insightful introduction to the surgical operations inside the Mobile Casualty Treatment Centre (MCTC) and the medical transfer services provided by the Multi-Stretcher cum Personnel Carrier.
Our F.4 Physics students enjoyed an action-packed day at Hong Kong Ocean Park where science met excitement! While riding the roller coaster, they had fun and explored the real-world physics and engineering behind every loop and drop.
Through hands-on observation, our students marvelled at key concepts like structural design, material science, and safety systems that make these rides both thrilling and safe. Experiencing the forces in motion firsthand brought classroom lessons to life and deepened their appreciation for how physics and engineering shape the world around us.
This exhilarating, cross-disciplinary educational adventure didn’t just teach our students science but also sparked inspiration and their new interest in STEAM as well as a fresh look at future careers in engineering.

Recently, we welcomed 24 students and 3 teachers from Wesley Methodist School Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for a day of enriching cultural exchange and camaraderie.
Immersing themselves in our school life, the Malaysian students joined our Form 3 and Form 4 classes, experiencing our curriculum and teaching styles firsthand. This provided a unique platform for students to explore different educational approaches and share their perspectives. Connecting with Wong Tai Shan buddies, they forged new friendships and strengthened bonds through shared activities.
The engaging English activities we offered, on the other hand, further fostered cross-cultural understanding and created a fun, interactive environment for language practice. The day culminated in a spirited game of exciting dodgebee, allowing everyone to relax and solidify their newfound companionship.
We look forward to future opportunities for invaluable exchange and collaboration with other schools!
Our school, in collaboration with The Hong Kong Society for the Blind, recently hosted a dim sum making volunteer activity at the Star Chef Management School in Yau Ma Tei. Apart from applying their culinary skills in working with the elderly participants, our students also learned how to assist people in wheelchairs and lead the way for those with visual impairments. The interactions not only enhanced their communication skills but also fostered their care and compassion for the elderly, giving them valuable insights about old people’s needs.
Our F.4 Visual Arts students visited Art Central previously at Central Harbourfront. They explored contemporary art trends from across Asia and beyond at this significant event during Hong Kong Art Week.
Our students gained valuable inspiration while viewing diverse artistic expressions spanning installations, performance art, and visual displays. This experiential learning opportunity enhanced their understanding of current art movements in a vibrant international setting, celebrating Art Central’s 10th anniversary.
In late March, our students stepped into the windswept moors of Wuthering Heights through a spellbinding musical adaptation. Brontë’s tale unfolded in haunting melodies and gripping drama, leaving the audience mesmerized. The production’s bold staging and soaring vocals transformed classic literature into living art. For our students, it was more than a performance—it was an unforgettable encounter with storytelling’s raw power and beauty.
In our Chemistry workshop titled “The Science and Art of Being Hydrophobic” hosted by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, our students explored the scientific principles behind hydrophobic (water-repelling) and hydrophilic (water-attracting) materials. They also gained valuable insights into the chemical processes and materials such as waxes, silicones, and coatings that create hydrophobic surfaces. The workshop effectively combined theoretical knowledge with engaging, hands-on activities, making the learning experience both enriching and memorable.

Proud and motivated after finishing an inspiring and empowering workshop
Some of our F.2 to F.5 students visited the M+ for a special tour and workshop titled ‘The Making of Dreams’. This inspiring activity aimed to illustrate how design and architecture can drive social change in today’s world.
During the visit, our students explored the stories behind various designers and learned how their work reflects cultural shifts. They discovered the impact of design on people’s lives and communities. The workshop focused on the design of table tennis rackets, encouraging them to think creatively about everyday objects. This experience motivated them to view themselves as future creators who can contribute to positive change.
Our Third Staff Development Day was recently held, featuring a morning session on School Crisis Management and a variety of engaging activities in the afternoon.
The morning talk deepened teachers’ understanding of the procedures for handling emergency situations, followed by diverse team building activities including sports challenges, a cooking session, and an arts and crafts workshop. Through these shared experiences, teachers enjoyed a meaningful and enjoyable day, fostering collaboration and a sense of teamwork as they worked towards the common goals.
Our prefects attended an unforgettable camp filled with growth and camaraderie. Through orienteering, team building challenges, and collaborative activities, they honed their communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Led by our head prefects, the camp was both meaningful and impactful, equipping and readying the members to be leaders.
