Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration 2023
To celebrate the bliss of togetherness and in line with our major concern to cultivate a positive vibe in school and create joyful moments for our students, our Chinese, English, Visual Arts and Music Departments organised various stall games during lunchtime at Mid-Autumn Festival.
Apart from lantern riddles, lantern painting and origami which everyone enjoyed, we also had a mooncake and fruit sharing time especially for our non-Chinese students as an opportunity for them to experience and appreciate our Chinese culture which is an important element of values education encompassing care and love for others while nurturing our sense of national identity.
The instrumental performance of Guzheng solo as well as the festive music hyped up the atmosphere. Besides, we played Putonghua songs and had an English debate session related to the festival, which echoed our major concern to foster biliteracy and trilingualism among students.
Finally, students and teachers had a great time taking pictures at our school hall entrance adorned with lantern and rabbit decorations. It was a fun day full of warmth and joy
