Build Our Homes With Our Neighbours
To demonstrate our love and care for the elderly in the community with a belief that giving is more rewarding than receiving, we collaborated with The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council to organize an event named “Build Our Homes With Our Neighbours” on 2 February 2024, promoting the values of benevolence, filial piety, and empathy.
Over a total of a hundred student volunteers participated in this initiative. They visited 258 elderly residents of Mei Ying House and Mei Yue House in Shek Kip Mei Estate, delivering gifts and engaging in warm conversations with them.
This program was subsidized by the Heart to Heart School Neighbourhood Project of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and our Parent-Teacher Association.
