The English Drama Club recently organized a captivating drama appreciation activity that immersed our students in the mesmerizing world of “Faith Healer.” This critically acclaimed play, written by Brian Friel, proved to be a thought-provoking and emotionally charged theatrical experience that left a lasting impact on all who attended.
Ocean Park hosted their annual “Christmas SING Concert– Jingle All the Way”, featuring carefully planned performances by different local groups. In addition to a choir singing heartwarming Christmas tunes, there were live orchestra performances and prominent dancers also joined, celebrating a warm Christmas together.
Our School Choir and Symphonic Band took part in this event to provide students with an opportunity to perform outside school, broaden their horizons, and enhance their performing skills.
A huge shout out to our Junior Dodgebee Team for being the U13 Champion in the Dodgebee Competition 2023 held by the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong on 2 December 2023. Team members are as follows:
This year’s Inter-house Volleyball Competition, organized by Blue House, was held on 18 and 22 January 2024 just after our first term exam had ended. It was a great opportunity for students skilled in volleyball to compete for their houses. During the competition, the participants showcased their zest and liveliness. We all relished the delightful occasion!
In December 2023, our School Picnic was organized to provide students with a memorable day outside the classroom. Different classes went to different places, like Discovery Bay, Cheung Chau, Peng Chau, Butterfly Beach, Cafeteria Beach, Tai Mei Tuk, and Ocean Park. It was an opportunity for students to connect with nature, engage in recreational activities, and foster social bonds with their peers.
Our Information Day cum Admission Talk was held in December 2023. With a record-breaking attendance of over 1,300 parents and students, the afternoon was filled with excitement and enthusiasm, enjoying a full house.

In our Admission Talk, apart from a school overview and introduction of the SSPA interview arrangements, our students shared their school lives in Wong Tai Shan. Meanwhile, our alumni, currently studying Medicine and Surgery, Law, Actuarial Analysis and Architecture at HKU and CUHK, recounted their success stories. The Q&A session that followed was lively with parents eagerly inquiring further about our school.

After the Admission Talk, visitors explored our 9 display venues. While our sports teams promoted pickleball, an interesting game, our Marching Band and Symphonic Band proudly performed their vibrant tunes. Our Chemistry Magic Shows, on the other hand, amazed audiences with mind-blowing experiments, showcasing our students’ expertise.
Our thanks go to every member of the school working hand in hand in hosting this impressive occasion. The immense togetherness was touching and rewarding.
Our 45th Speech Day was held recently with Professor Fong Yuk-fai, Associate Dean of Executive Master of Business Administration Program & Executive Education, Academic Direction of EMBA Program, Professor of Economics, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School, as our Guest of Honour.
Quoting Professor Fong’s words, “Graduation is not the end of this journey though. Rather, it’s the beginning of a new chapter. Keep pushing and you will achieve your dreams one day.” Let us all look forward to our every milestone ahead.
5B Wong Chun Nam and 4C Cheng Lok Hei performed outstandingly in the Inter-school Swimming Competition. We are much proud of their hard work and dedication. Their prizes are as follows.
Our school was invited by St. Francis Xavier’s College to join their Boys 4x100m Invitation Relay on 29 November 2023. Our students, 3D Liu Shun Luo, 3C Cheung Man Hei, 3B Mak Tsz Ching and 2D Huang Kai Xiang, got the 1st Runner-up. Congratulations!
