We joyfully celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival with a variety of engaging activities, including Chinese riddles, lantern-making arts and crafts, mathematics puzzle games, English fun games, and hands-on science experiments related to the occasion. The events not only offered students a valuable opportunity to appreciate the rich traditions and cultural heritage of China but also play a crucial role in strengthening our sense of national identity and unity within the school community.
Our “F.1 Joyful Beginnings Feast” was a resounding success! The school hall was filled with a vibrant atmosphere as we celebrated our new Form 1 students’ completion of their first month in the WTS family. With a traditional Chinese banquet, insightful cultural sharing, and the jolly chatter of students and teachers, the event perfectly achieved its goal as a warm welcome to create a strong, positive start for their secondary school journey and reinforce their sense of belonging to the school. The fond memories of the occasion will surely last.
An exciting inter-class debate was recently held during lunchtime, featuring Form 4 students against their Form 5 peers. The motion that “Satoshi is a good caregiver of his Pokémon” sparked lively discussions among the participants.
Our Form 4 team argued in favor of the motion, highlighting Satoshi’s (Ash Ketchum’s) unwavering dedication, compassion, and strong bond with his Pokémon. They emphasized how his leadership and nurturing nature ensure his Pokémon thrive in battles and beyond.
Meanwhile, our Form 5 team presented counterarguments, questioning whether Satoshi’s frequent challenges and occasional setbacks truly reflect ideal caregiving. They encouraged the audience to consider alternative perspectives on responsibility and growth.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for students to develop critical thinking, public speaking skills, and an appreciation of diverse viewpoints.
Well done to all participants for their spirited contributions!
Our F.5 VA students visited the Hong Kong Heritage Museum – T.T. Tsui Gallery as an outdoor classroom experience. They had a great time learning about the changes in ceramics in different periods of China.
Our 47th Aquatic Meet was a resounding success filled with spirited competition and teamwork. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Kim Sze, HKACED sports ambassador and kendo athlete, for sharing his valuable insights on sports competition preparation.
Students’ and teachers’ participation has made the event a memorable one. Last but not least, congratulations to Yellow House, our overall champion, and Red House, the 1st runner-up!
5C Chu Long Hin has achieved 1st runner-up in 200m Individual Medley in the Inter-school Swimming Competition. We are proud of his hard work and dedication, and congratulations for his outstanding performance!
Our students’ efforts and achievements were well recognized by the Sham Shui Po District Outstanding Students’ Association and they received the 17th Sham Shui Po District Outstanding Students’ Award. Congratulations!

Our Form 1 Bridging Programme was designed to facilitate a smooth and welcoming transition into secondary school life for our new students.
The programme began with opportunities for students to connect with their new teachers and classmates in a supportive environment, fostering a sense of belonging and warm relationships from the outset.
Academic preparation was a key component of the programme. Tailored lessons offered a glimpse into the upcoming curriculum, getting students ready for the year ahead. Besides learning the school song, a symbol of our ethos and unity, they enjoyed the engaging English games devised and led by our senior students in our English Activities Room.
Meanwhile, the wholesome physical activities hosted by our PE teachers and coaches allowed students to energize up and bond with their new friends while showcasing their agility.
A 2-day-1-night Growth Camp at Pat Heung was a highlight of our programme. It was a unique off-campus experience for personal growth and resilience-building through diverse exposure and challenges like flag-raising ceremony, Chinese-style marching, team-building games and adventures. The camp encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones, discover their hidden potential and enhance their capabilities. The interaction with our alumni also gave them valuable insights and inspiration.
We believe this comprehensive programme has equipped our Form 1 students with the essential skills and connections they need to thrive. We are excited to see their progress and accomplishments in the years to come.
As the new academic year commences, we are much pleased to share with you the joy of our recent HKDSE achievements and the milestone signified by our school’s 50th anniversary.
Record-breaking HKDSE Results of 2024-2025
With a goal for brilliance and enduring hard work, our graduates have performed delightfully in this year’s HKDSE:
This cohort’s performance has been the most outstanding in our school’s history since the introduction of DSE in 2012.
Our subjects’ average credit rate (Level 4 or above) is 62%.
15 out of our 16 subjects have credit rates better than the Hong Kong average.
In particular, the credit rates of our Chemistry, History, Economics, Visual Arts, and BAFS (Business, Accounting and Financial Studies) are almost twice of the Hong Kong average.
With students’ perseverance and diligence, parents’ unfailing support and teachers’ tremendous teamwork, we will continue to nurture our students for further accomplishments.
Golden Jubilee Anniversary
This year is our school’s 50th anniversary, a precious time to honour our ethos cultivated and progress made over the years.
As one of the major celebratory initiatives, we have proceeded with a series of renovation projects in recent months to upgrade the campus conducive to students’ learning and wellbeing. Our Golden Jubilee Garden, Silver Jubilee Garden, STEAM Room (Rooms 603 and 604), lawn, Green House as well as our refurbished library and school hall are all meant to offer a comfortable and relaxing environment for students to enjoy both their study and leisure time here, enriching their learning experience and school life.
We are more than grateful for our School Sponsoring Body’s generous financial provisions and parents’ trust in us all along. While we cherish our togetherness and concerted efforts as always, we look forward to embarking on a new stage striving for new summits.
