Celebrating our Achievements at EMI Drama Fest 2025!
With our outstanding performance at the EMI Drama Fest 2025, our English Musical Team was honored to be invited to perform our original play, Curse of the Wand, at the Fest’s Prize Presentation Ceremony at Wah Yan College, Hong Kong previously.
Delightfully, the play has earned us awards of Outstanding Performance and Outstanding Directing. Special congratulations go to 2A Anna Liu portraying Brianna for winning the Outstanding Performer Award!
Having been invited to perform at the ceremony for the second consecutive year, this incredible recognition demonstrates the passion and hard work of our talented cast, crew, and student directors. With our harvest so far, our team will keep shining on stage!

EDB’s Exhibition of Student Visual Arts Work 2024/25
Our Visual Arts students visited the Exhibition of Student Visual Arts Work 2024/25 at Hong Kong City Hall recently. The exhibition showcased visual arts achievements of primary and secondary school students, providing valuable learning opportunities for both students and teachers. The exhibits celebrated young artistic talent and fostered mutual inspiration across different schools.
This year, two of our students, Pat Yau Yau (Form 6) and Zhang Ngai Fan (Form 2), had their works selected for display. Congratulations to Yau Yau and Ngai Fan for the recognition!

Yau Yau’s comic work was included in the exhibition’s collection.

Ngai Fan’s Chinese painting was also selected for display.

Inter-school Boys B Grade Basketball Competition 2024-2025

Our Committed Dedication at the 76th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival
With more than two hundred of our students enthusiastically taking part in the 76th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival (English), an impressive 82% of our participants earned Merit Certificates as a testament to their talent and hard work. We are also thrilled to celebrate the achievements of those who brought home one second place and four third places, demonstrating their exceptional performance.
Thanks to the tremendous support and guidance from teachers and parents, we are grateful for the incredible collective success, and will continue to encourage our students to strive for excellence.

A Magical Triumph: Curse of the Wand Shines on Stage!
Our English Musical Team, together with the school choir, brought our original musical Curse of the Wand to life at the Hong Kong School Drama Festival. Written by four talented junior form students and staged after four months of dedicated rehearsal, the creative performance was truly spellbinding.
Our team’s hard work paid off. Apart from reaping the awards of Outstanding Stage Effects and Outstanding Cooperation, we also had the stellar acting of Anna Liu (Brianna), Carson Hu (Liam), Harry Choi (Larry), and Hayden Kong (Basketball Player) well recognized with the Outstanding Performers Award.
It was a magical journey filled with heartwarming teamwork and unforgettable moments!

Hong Kong Young Writers Awards 2025
Our student, Cheung Pak Hiu from 1D, was shortlisted in the prestigious Hong Kong Young Writers Awards 2025 for the Bauhinia Club Award for Non-fiction with his outstanding piece based on the theme New Tales of China’s Dinosaurs. His entry has been included in the HKYWA 2025 Anthology. We are proud of Pak Hiu’s talent, dedication and skill in crafting engaging narratives and the publication of his work. We look forward to his further innovations with his diligence serving as an inspiration to his peers.


Navigator Scheme: “Country and Home” Online Quiz Competition
Students from our school participated in the Navigator Scheme: “Country and Home” Online Quiz Competition organized by the Hok Yau Club and achieved excellent results:
- 2 of our students won the first prize among a total of 10 contestants
- 5 of our students won the second prize among a total of 40 contestants
- 10 of our students won the third prize among a total of 50 contestants

Our alumnus on Dean’s List of HKUST
So Wai Kei, our alumnus, has been selected to appear on the Dean’s List of HKUST’s School of Engineering for the academic year of 2023-24. Only those who have achieved a Term Grade Average of 3.7 or better, which is the top 5% of students, are included.
We are proud of Wai Kei’s impressive performance and will continue to nurture outstanding students, contributing to the success in their pursuit of higher education as well as lifelong journey.

Ng Teng Fong Scholarship
4A Lau Tsz Yan demonstrated outstanding performance in terms of her studies, conduct, extracurricular activities as well as social service. She was thus awarded the “Ng Teng Fong Scholarship” by the Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service in recognition of her achievements. Congratulations to Tsz Yan!

61st Schools Dance Festival
Our Chinese Dance and Contemporary Jazz Dance members participated in the 61st Schools Dance Festival and reaped a Highly Commended Award for Chinese Dance (Secondary Section) Group and Commended Awards for Contemporary Dance (Secondary Section) Group and Contemporary Dance (Secondary Section) Duet.
