Study Tour of Danxia Culture in Mainland Shaoguan
Our Form 5 students participated in our Citizenship and Social Development Mainland Study Tour, visiting Danxia Mountain and Shaoguan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd to deepen their understanding of Chinese culture and our nation’s development.
At the Danxia Mountain Museum, students learned about the geological features of the region and the preservation and passing on of cultural heritage. Besides, they joined an ecological study programme to explore the local flora and insect biodiversity. At Shaoguan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd, they toured the modern industrial production line and gained insights into enterprises’ opportunities as well as challenges. This fruitful study tour has not only broadened students’ horizons but also strengthened their sense of national identity.



















Senior Secondary Seminars for Form 3 Students
In the two informative sessions of our annual Senior Secondary Seminars, Form 3 students were introduced to the elective subjects offered, with each subject’s content, key focus and requirements clearly explained to help them better understand their options, thereby facilitating their life planning regarding future studies and career development. The information provided will serve as a useful reference for them as they consider their interests and strengths when selecting their electives for the coming school year.
We once again highlighted the importance of early preparation in the selection process, encouraging students to make wise decisions and choose subjects that best suit their goals and aspirations.



Joint-school Oral Practice
The Joint-school Oral Practice was successfully held by the Student Unions of our school and Buddhist Tai Hung College, C.C.C. Ming Yin College, Concordia Lutheran School, as well as TWGHs Chang Ming Thien College.
The event provided students with an opportunity to sharpen their oral examination skills and build their self-confidence, thanks to settings and procedures that closely mirrored the DSE oral examination.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Student Unions for their diligent collaboration, and teacher examiners and student helpers from each participating school. We wish all candidates lovely results!




Career Exploration Workshops
Our Form 4 students had an opportunity to explore a variety of professions and fields, like medical health care, occupational therapy and pet grooming.
Through interactive sessions in the workshops, they gained insights into the essential skills required in different roles and responsibilities, fostering a sense of direction in their personal development.
With a better understanding of the job market and having learned more about their potential career pathways and progression, they are more than motivated to set their own achievable goals.

New Students’ Excursion to The Peak
A group of enthusiastic new students from our school enjoyed a trip to The Peak with not only sightseeing opportunities but also a chance to bond with their peers.
The highlight of the trip was the iconic Peak Tram, a historical and beloved mode of transport offering a unique perspective of our stunning landscape. Upon reaching Sky Terrace 428, Hong Kong’s highest viewing platform, our students were greeted by a mesmerizing panoramic view of the vibrant cityscape.
Besides enjoying the picturesque scenery, they also explored the Mei Lok Experience Studio, where they marvelled at the exhibits and traditions showcasing the essence of old Hong Kong.
We look forward to creating more enriching experiences to broaden our students’ horizons and embellish their educational journey.



Strikes and Smiles: Energy Boost Bowling Program
The rhythmic clatter of bowling pins and resounding cheers filled U.S. Dacos Bowling Centre in Tsuen Wan as our Form 5 and Form 6 students, along with their teachers, traded the familiar confines of the classroom for the lively atmosphere of the bowling alley as part of the school’s Energy Boost program. This initiative aims to provide students with a relaxing break from their studies and foster a sense of camaraderie amid their academic pursuits.


Students and teachers alike embraced the spirit of friendly competition and lighthearted fun. For some, it was a chance to unveil their hidden talents, while others simply enjoyed the social interaction and the thrill of sending a heavy ball hurtling towards ten unsuspecting pins.


Confidence Boost for DSE ahead: F.6 Cheering Day 2025
Our memorable Cheering Day was filled with meaningful activities to acknowledge our Form 6 students’ hard work so far and boost their confidence for the DSE journey ahead.

The day began with a stress management workshop led by our dedicated school social workers. Students crafted Japanese Ema (繪馬), a creative activity of making traditional wooden plaques to convey wishes which encouraged them to reflect on their aspirations and goals.



Students had a lunch gathering with our Principal and teachers. It was a time of union and connection.



In the afternoon, the excitement continued with various cheering activities. Students watched heartfelt memory videos and received uplifting messages from their peers. This was followed by a sharing session where they expressed their appreciation to the school, teachers and friends.




To symbolize the courage to pursue their dreams, students folded paper planes, which served as a vivid reminder of their potential and passion for the future.

The day was filled with joy, inspiration, and camaraderie, complemented by special souvenirs embodying the school’s steadfast support, students’ treasured memories as well as a refreshed sense of stamina as they prepare to embark on their next adventures.
A Day of Home-School Bonding: Parents’ Day
With a variety of tailor-made activities, our Parents’ Day was meant to foster home-school cooperation and the connections within our school community.
Parents’ Talk
We hosted a talk on “Parents’ Mental Health and Self-Care” offering practical strategies to help parents nourish their sense of well-being.

Tea Gathering with the Principal
Following the talk, parents enjoyed the tea gathering with our Principal. This informal occasion allowed parents to share their views with the school administration

Parent Education Bookstall
Parents were keen to browse and borrow the items at our themed book fair on Parent Education featuring a range of resources on guidance and counseling to help boost parents’ support for their children’s learning and personal growth.

F.3 Parents’ Talk
Our seminar for Form 3 students and parents provided important information about subject selection and the related further studies and career prospects. Parents appreciated the academic as well as life planning insights shared in this session.

Game Booth
A game booth organized by the LevelMind@JC social workers offered parents and students a fun way to explore their emotions and relationships through interactive activities. This engaging approach helped participants gain a deeper understanding of emotional well-being.

Apart from meeting class teachers, throughout the day, parents could also converse with the school administration and various sections to discuss matters in support of their children’s development
PTA 25th Anniversary Poon Choi Feast
Our PTA celebrated its 25th Anniversary with a vibrant Poon Choi Feast. This popular Cantonese dish, served in a large communal pot, symbolizes a spirit of togetherness and celebration. Committee members, families and teachers enjoyed a pleasurable array of food while reminiscing about the PTA’s contributions and milestones over the years. The event highlighted the importance of home-school cooperation and the joy of our shared experiences.










PTA Snowflake Crisp Making Workshop and Visiting the Elderly
Our PTA’s Snowflake Crisp Making Workshop has been a delightful experience immersed in the art of crafting this traditional treat. Guided by our skilled instructors, participants mixed dough, shaped crisps, and infused them with flavors of Chinese cuisine. Laughter and camaraderie filled the air as they shared tips and stories, transforming the workshop into a celebration of creativity and lasting memories rooted in a shared culinary culture.







Besides, blessing bags with gifts as well as scarves prepared during our PTA’s previous Knitting Class were delivered to the elderly at the Baptist Church Pak Tin Center. The activity fostered a warm atmosphere of joy, compassion and generosity, highlighting the precious values of our Chinese culture.
