Greater Bay Area Borderless Higher Education Exploration Tour
Some of our Form 5 and 6 students participated in the Greater Bay Area Borderless Higher Education Exploration Tour jointly organized by Hok Yau Club and the Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation.
In the tour, they had the opportunity to visit South China Normal University and Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, gaining firsthand knowledge of the campus environments and academic programs offered in the mainland.

University Exploration Opportunity
Knowing the importance of early career guidance, our school encourages Form 3 to Form 6 students to attend university Information Days.
These events offer a unique opportunity for students to step into the world of higher education, exposing them to diverse academic programs and campus environments. Through conversations with professors and university students, they gain a deeper understanding of potential study paths and career trajectories.
Such experiences ignite a sense of purpose and excitement, helping students align their goals with their passions. Many return from the visits with heightened motivation, eager to share their learning and reflections with their teachers and peers.

PTA Parents’ Talk & Tea Gathering
Our PTA is dedicated to promoting healthy, happy and balanced growth and development among young people. We invited Mr. Elvis Ng, senior project manager and social worker of Healthy Net, Hong Kong Western Service Centre, to conduct a parents’ talk on ways to deal with the knotty problem of teenage internet addiction.
After the talk, we had a tea gathering as an opportunity for parents’ mutual learning and support, as well as interaction with our Principal, Vice Principal, and teachers.

Special Programme: Tea House Student Matinees Scheme (Secondary School Version)
Aligning with the One-off Grant for Promotion of Chinese Culture Immersion Activities of Education Bureau, our school’s Music Department arranged for F.1 students to participate in the “Tea House Student Matinees Scheme”, allowing students to explore the art of xiqu and traditional Chinese culture in a stimulating, inter-disciplinary way. Through narrated performances, traditional Cantonese music demonstrations, interactive facilitator-led discussion sessions and post-performance workshops, students experienced the beauty of xiqu and better understood the Chinese cultural values conveyed in opera stories, which helps cultivate positive education. |
Gratitude Day: A Heartfelt Celebration of Appreciation
Our Gratitude Day has been a joyful celebration dedicated to honoring those having enriched our lives and the blessings we often overlook. The event was a vibrant tapestry of gratefulness, connection, mental wellbeing, and creativity.

During the lunchbreak, students and teachers filled our school hall with excitement as they had a great time at a variety of engaging booths. Many embraced their artistic sides by crafting beautiful gifts and tokens of appreciation for their loved ones. Meanwhile, others dove into fun activities that promoted emotional awareness and encouraged better care for their wellbeing.
A highlight of the day was the Gratitude Wall, where participants shared uplifting messages of thanks. This colorful display served as a powerful reminder of the love, support and positivity within our community.

We believe that happiness comes from gratitude, and our Gratitude Day not only allowed us to express our thankfulness but also strengthened the connections among students and teachers.
Alumni Sharing Day
To enrich students’ knowledge of life planning for further studies and help them better understand different career pathways, an Alumni Sharing Day is arranged for our Form 5 and 6 students every two years. This year, around 30 alumni from different fields were invited to share their experience, the job requirements and career prospects with our students and parents.
Our alumni’s dedication and insights are much appreciated. Besides, the reunion with their teachers at the occasion is well treasured.

Spooktacular Halloween Celebration
Halloween Fun Day was a spooktacular event organized by the English Department. Both students and teachers donned their most creative costumes and participated in the festivities. Held during lunchtime, the event featured fun-filled games and trick-or-treating at four exciting booths strategically placed around the campus.
Students teamed up with friends to uncover hidden clues, which led them to partake in thrilling activities such as Halloween bowling and bean bag throw challenges. Additionally, they delved into tongue twisters, poems, and word search games while engaging in delightful conversations with teachers. By giving their best at the game booths, students earned well-deserved treats.

Meanwhile, our Student Union hosted a Halloween Escape Game after school. Students formed groups to overcome various challenges using the provided items to escape.

These activities not only generated laughter and excitement but also cultivated a lively atmosphere, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie among students.
