Visiting IFEC FinEd Hub and HKMA
The Investor and Financial Education Council (IFEC) recently launched the IFEC FinEd Hub, Hong Kong’s first digital experiential learning centre to provide experiential learning experiences on investor and financial education for people in Hong Kong.
Our F.4 Economics students visited the centre recently. The hands-on activities and interactive simulations fostered a deeper understanding of financial literacy, offering practical skills and knowledge that empower our students to make informed financial decisions in the future.
Meanwhile, our F.5 students studying Economics and BAFS went on a guided tour visiting the HKMA Information Centre. The tour allowed them to gain insight into the economic and social development of Hong Kong over the years. It was a valuable opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge and understanding of the subject content outside the classroom.
Emotion Management through Drama
On 28 June 2024, our school hosted a captivating drama performance by DramaWonderland for our Form 1-3 students. The play, “23:10”, conveyed the importance of listening and managing our emotions. The engaging characters and thought-provoking scenarios encouraged our students to reflect on their own experiences and make good use of emotional management strategies.

The dynamic interactions between the performers and audience created an immersive learning environment, allowing our students to develop a deeper understanding of emotion management. This activity not only enlightened our students but also reinforced the value of incorporating drama-based learning to empower them with emotional intelligence and communication skills.

A Memorable Visit to Disneyland
On 29 June 2024, 25 of our top-performing students from Form 1 and Form 2 were invited to a visit to Disneyland as a reward to recognize their outstanding performance in our Student Award Scheme which aims to cultivate positive moral values and encourage students to set goals.
Our students were amazed at the famous Disney characters and magical atmosphere of the theme park. They explored different rides and shows, impressed by the detail and immersion. Laughter and joy filled the air as they made wonderful memories with their friends.
The visit to Disneyland not only rewarded students’ hard work but also provided them with an opportunity to relax and have fun experiencing the wonder of this iconic destination. With our appreciation and recognition, we believe our students will continue to strive for excellence in their various pursuits.
