Achievements

The Inter-school Cross Country Competition organized by the HKSSF was held at Aberdeen Reservoir on 15 November 2022. Our team did well and were awarded the Girls Team Overall Champion, Boys Team Overall 2nd Runner-up, Boys C Grade Team Champion, Girls A Grade Team 2nd Runner-up and Girls C Grade Team 2nd Runner-up. In addition, our students received some individual awards.

Two of our students participated in the Asia Students Art Festival 2023 and achieved pleasing results. Their hard work, persistence and enthusiasm are very much appreciated. Details are as follows:

Organized by First Education, the competition attracts music and dance lovers from all corners of Asia every year, providing a platform for performing arts lovers to showcase their talents, demonstrating the classical, modern, Chinese and Western music and dance cultures in Asia.

Congratulations to Ho Hei and Sze Che!

Our student, 4D Fung Ho Hei, participated in the 3rd View Win Chinese Instrumental Contest and received Gold Award in Zheng Solo (Senior Class). The contest provides a competition platform for all Chinese music lovers in Hong Kong with the belief that music has no boundaries, so as to promote and inherit Hong Kong’s Chinese music culture and gather more Chinese music talents.

Ho Hei also obtained Gold Award in Zheng Solo (Age 9-16) in HKNTP Student Talent Competition (2022). Working with charities and different star institutions, Competition HK enhances children’s self-confidence and communication between parents and children through various contests and activities.

The Sham Shui Po District Age Group Athletics Meet was organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and Sham Shui Po Sports Association. It was held at Sham Shui Po Sports Ground on 6 November 2022. This is an annual district event. Our athletic and cross country team members performed outstandingly. The awards are as follows.

The 2022 Seungdai Athletic Association U18 Invitation Competition (Dodgedisc) was held on 17 December 2022. Two teams were selected to represent our school.

This was the first game of our new junior form members. They performed outstandingly and were awarded their first champion title in the plate competition.

Our senior team, on the other hand, also did very well and was awarded the champion title in the cup competition.

Three teams from our school joined the vHK Grand Tour AR Design Competition and obtained the 1st Runner-up and two 2nd Merit Awards among the top 25 finalists.

The competition was organized by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), aiming to encourage the Hong Kong secondary academia to develop creativity with novel technologies and to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). Participants designed and created ideal scenes of our city’s famous landmarks and scenic spots while demonstrating their historical roots and profundity in AR production, going through a series of challenges since June 2022, including a kick-off seminar, proposal submission, AR STEM training workshop, interviews, and more.

The prize-giving ceremony was held on 13 December 2022. Our awardees are as follows:

Apart from having been showcased in HKPC’s TechEd STEM Hall Exhibition in December 2022, the AR works are displayed in the Exhibition Activities and Mobile Propaganda Vehicle Roadshow from January to March 2023.

Five of our F.6 Biology students participated in Hong Kong Secondary School Health Exhibition Presentation Competition (HEPC) 2022 organized by Medical Society, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. They presented on the topic “Dry eye disease and its relationship with the COVID-19 pandemic” and received the Bronze Award.
